Collaboration between co-workers is an important part of maintaining a work environment that is conducive to project completion, well-rounded client services, and high employee morale. Track Records allows employees to collaborate and connect without the nuisance of being interrupted by a phone call or alert.
System messages are interoffice messages that are similar to email. They are only available to employees who are users of Track Records, which means there is never the threat of spam, since the messages can only be sent by employees. While system messages are similar to email, they are not sent through the Internet, so there is also no threat of computer viruses that can be spread through email systems.
Another way that Track Records facilitates interoffice communication is through a task recording and assignment tool called Task Track. Each department within the agency can create their own “folder” within Task Track to list projects and tasks that must be done, enter a due date for each task, and indicate the priority of each task. The tasks can then be assigned to specific people in the department and notes can be written on each task. Department managers can use this tool to monitor the progress of projects and offer feedback to employees regarding each task.
